In many organizations a process of rewards and punishments are utilized to influence personnel toward achieving organizational goals. However, are these consequences being applied so as to truly influence follower behavior in order to excel toward meeting organizational goals as well as employee development? Or, as in many instances, are the consequences a series of pats on the back or spankings that have little long term effect. Mark, explains and demonstrates how consequences can have a significant influence on motivation and actually lead to greater follower satisfaction. Participants will walk away with a plan for increasing motivation though the use of consequences in some aspect of their life.
