Small in stature and high in energy, nun-denominational Sister Katrina is fun, informative, and downright entertaining! With nearly three decades helping people unlock their self-expression, she's passionate about possibilities - inspiring others to be proactive and create the life they really want. Sister Katrina is also the mother of three and a business owner since 1978.

Peripherally blind due to retinitis pigmentosa, Sister illustrates how we can turn our adversities into assets and how disabilities and challenges can become our greatest teachers. Through her comedic and interactive style, practical tips, funny stories (her dad raised exotic animals!) and entertaining song parodies, she promises to inspire, motivate, humor, and get your group looking at their lives in a whole new light!

Sister Katrina's alias, Kathryn J. Hume, has worked with thousands of students in her performing arts school, Express Yourself Academy, Inc., and its award-winning program called °StepsCinco! - a 5-in-1 class in Speech, Theater, Etiquette, Poise, and Self-esteem. Her classes have also been offered through Minneapolis Community and Technical College and the Minneapolis Public School system. Hume has written over 100 poems, songs, plays, and musicals, and has produced and directed more than 30 performances featuring her pupils. Her experience includes voiceover work, improvisational comedy, and numerous plays and musicals.
