Al Walker began speaking and training at a young age and was once one of the top-rated instructors in the Dale Carnegie programs. After being in the speaking and training industry for over 20 years, Al Walker has had quite a few accomplishments. He is a former Regional Vice President for Sales and Marketing Executives International from which he earned the designation Certified Sales Executive. And he has served on SMEI's Board of Directors. He is a past president of the National Speakers Association and has served as Chairman of the NSA Foundation Board of Trustees. He has earned the designation Certified Speaking Professional and his NSA colleagues inducted him into the Speakers Hall of Fame. Al recently was honored with NSA's Cavett Award, which is the National Speakers Association's highest award presented annually to the member who has rendered exceptional service to the speaking industry and the association.

Al Walker is the president of Al Walker and Associates, Inc. in Chapin, SC. His firm is dedicated to helping businesses and individuals solve problems and increase productivity through professional speaking, training, and consulting services. Al and the people in his firm have conducted over 1500 training clinics, workshops, seminars, and programs for organizations from the United States, Europe, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. He is masterful teacher and is nationally recognized for his unique, fun-loving, humorous approach to speaking
