LaVonn Steiner has delivered over 1,100 motivational presentations at conferences and meetings worldwide; is an Accredited Certified Manager (CM); is a member of the National Speakers Association and the International Federation of Professional Speakers and recently returned from speaking in New Zealand.
LaVonn began her management career right out of college as a director of a medical teaching school in an acute care hospital. She received the Award of Excellence with a school ranking of number 3 of 400 programs nationally. She was named National Educator of the Year by the National Society for Clinical Laboratory Scientists in Washington D.C.
Currently, LaVonn owns EXCEL LEADERSHIP INC, has authored leadership articles and researched over 1,500 books on personal and group leadership. She is a Contributing Author to the #1 New York Times Best-selling book series Chicken Soup for the Soul at Work.® Her story was quoted in The Wall Street Journal and was adapted for television. LaVonn is the Co-Author of the upcoming book, Getting a Grip on Leadership.
