Lennie spoke to two very different groups for Clackamas County. The first was a large group of managers, directors and elected officials. Evaluations were extremely positive. The best demonstration was that beyond saying nice things they took action. They contacted me to say thank you. They made changes in their own behavior. They strongly encouraged their staff to leave their work to be part of the organization wide group, without my prompting. It is difficult to explain how rare all of these actions are. I really credit the quality of Lennie Mees' presentation with the introduction, funding, and support of what is becoming quite a good wellness program.
