Motivational Speaker Rachel Robertson
Rachel Robertson approaches life as one big lesson; and thank goodness, because she has had a lot of opportunities to learn - most often the hard way. Rachel uses the wisdom she has gained, laughs at the mistakes she has made, and shares the advice she has been given over the years with audiences of all kinds.
Professionally, she has worked in the education industry for over two decades. Her experiences have taken her across the country, from non-profit to for-profit, from in the classroom to developing resources and systems for hundreds of programs. She has published The Deployment Journal (Elva Resa LLC) series; books focused on supporting military families through deployment, and a number of articles on early childhood, child development, and successful family strategies with a soon to be released book on child care quality. She has led successful business teams and led training initiatives for a company with over 200,000 employees. She currently works as a career and quality education consultant.
Personally, she has experienced the ups and downs of life: she has lived with a loved one's addiction, navigated being a single, working mother, coped with the stress of military life and deployment, and experienced sudden job loss to name a few of those... lessons.
Rachel draws on her experiences and the strength that guided her through those moments, to motivate, connect, and inspire audiences. But, she doesn't just rely on her experience and stories to connect with the audience. Due to her professional knowledge of how adults learn best, and her proven skill in developing sessions based on training design and delivery principles, Rachel is uniquely qualified to customize sessions in a way that ensures the expected outcomes are met. Her sessions are not only motivating and inspiring, they guarantee participants walk away happy, enthusiastic and armed with tools they can begin using right away to increase their productivity, success, and confidence in their lives and careers.
