Brenda Elsagher is a national keynote speaker, comic, and author who speaks “real talk” that the audience can relate about which is laced with amusing anecdotes. Elsagher is the author of 4 books, If the Battle is Over, Why am I Still in Uniform? I'd Like to Buy a Bowel Please!, Bedpan Banter, and It’s in the Bag and Under the Covers. Brenda's expertise is in facing adversity and seeing the upswing of it. A colorectal cancer survivor, she knows what it's like to take a difficult subject and to find the humor in it plus is able to talk about taboo subjects with ease for audience comfort. Her messages transcend expectations across most audiences.

Brenda guarantees guffaws - not tee hees, and she knows your participants will walk away feeling great. An avid story teller including vignettes from her travels, being a mom in the sandwich generation, her interfaith, intercultural marriage, Brenda can also link a story into your customized presentation.

A small business owner for many years, she now spends her time writing and speaking full time. Brenda has won the Twin Cities Funniest Person contest, the "Golden Mic" award for the American Cancer Society and has been an active board member for United Ostomy Association of America, Minneapolis Chapter. She has produced comedy shows to raise money for various fundraisers and enjoys long distance bike riding on her recumbent bike. She currently is a co- facilitator for the Minnesota chapter of the National Speakers Association in the Apprentice Program for people who are emerging speakers. She has also been a national advocate for Fight Colorectal Cancer and has met with many members of Congress.
