Specializing in Healthcare Morale and Women's Well Being, and drawing from over twenty years as a nurse, Deb has been a full time professional speaker for over 10 years. She has presented keynotes and workshops as far away as New Zealand. Her CD's are used in educational settings in six countries. Deb writes and illustrates a humor column for the Journal of Perinatal Education, and is currently the editor of the Humor Connection, the premier publication of the Association for Applied and Therapeutic Humor. Deb's work is featured in the books "Ordinary People, Extraordinary Lives: The Stories of Nurses" and "The Princess Principle: Women Helping Women Discover Their Royal Spirit", and the exhibit "Heroic Acts in Humble Shoes: America's Nurses Tell Their Stories." In a very funny opening medley, she spoofed the bicycle riders who were sharing our hotel, captured highlights from the previous day's presentations and outlined special goals for conference over achievers. One minute she had everyone sharing a good laugh at themselves. The next they were wiping away tears of sincere appreciation. Our biggest decision for next year is whether to open with Deb or save the best for last!
