- Appointed Clinical Associate Professor of the Medical College of Wisconsin
- Co-founded the Health Care Division of HeartMath, LLC
- Named Medical Director of HeartMath, a research and education organization in California, after researching their scientifically validated and reproducible methods of stress reduction and applying them to his cardiac patients.
- Elected Chairman of the Board, in 2002, of the Heart Hospital of Milwaukee
- Chosen as a national and international presenter on the principles of HeartMath to enhance performance, reduce stress and improve health
